Late For Xmas
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I made this little game for Christmas, although I didn't make it on time :(
Sadly neither did Santa: his most trusted workers went crazy and scattered the gifts that he was supposed to deliver! Help Santa find the 10 gifts while avoiding the elves and save Christmas!
Goal/Objectives
- Find the 10 Gifts. They are all over the place!
- Don't fall into the pits. You will lose instantly and begin from the start.
- Be careful of elves. You will lose a life if you get touched by one.
- You have only 3 lives and you gain 1 life when you find the first five gifts.
- You can replay the game by pressing the Enter or the Space Bar.
Controls
- Move: A, D or the arrow keys (⬅, ➡)
- Jump: Space bar, W or the up arrow key (⬆)
- Throw Snowball: F or Ctrl

Santa, the elves, sound effects, coding, and level design were done by me!
The game is best played on Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. If it does not play smoothly check that you have hardware acceleration on.

The silly music and characters make it!
Only the jumping feels buggy, often you can't jump when you try to run-jump off a platform.
But I like the silly artstyle! It's fun :)

I also think that jumping could be better, but I didn't have enough time during holidays to work on it :P
Since I'm still a newb in creating games, I must continue to make more to see what works and what not.
